Somebody had to start this tread sooner or later I think its a real shame I always looked forward to e3 but I can see why support for it has been pulled it just got to out of hand this years being a perfect example.

I knew it had been cancelled, but don't know why. Why was it?

Companies complaining about the cost of exhibiting. All the fuss over the booth babes. Maybe even problems hiring the venue according to one report I read. Whatever, there will be an "entertainment expo" next year, just a lot smaller in scale.

I expect the answer to be a "no", but wondered if anyone else is going to the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany later this month?

Currently trying to con Mrs. Shin Gouki into going to Tokyo Game Show in September... my god that will be awesome... surrounded by Japanese technology and eccentricity... plus eating Sushi 24/7 :D
