I was coming from the angle of "what games caused me UTTER disappointment"! :)

The hype for games like Rambo, Airwolf, Knight Rider et al was very heavy but the resulting games were less than good.

I agree in hindsight that Rambo and even Airwolf weren't THAT bad, just very disappointing - but there's no excuse for the paltry tripe that is The Fall Guy, Knight Rider and Transformers - they're all practically unplayable :(

It's funny, but no-one has mentioned The Evil Dead. The film was brilliant. The game was of as much use as an inflatable dartboard. You had to close all the doors and window to stop the 'evil' getting into the cabin, and at the same time get rid of the spirits in the cabin by hacking at them with an axe.
Oh, and it used the Currah Speech as well, and was the best thing about the game. If you can call it that. It was terrible. There was no gameplay and I got bored with seconds. I'd rather play Bionic Granny (hang on.....no, I'd rather have a slow painful death....so.......yeah, Bionic Granny it is!)
JSW's Guff Emporium! <- My bit of t'internet.

Have you done an article on Chuckie Egg 2 yet? That was a mockery of a sham.

Can't remember if I mentioned it here or on another forum, but Skrull The Barbarian gets my vote.

Check it out an WinUAE - its hilariously shocking. Why the hell I bought it I have no idea. Its another one of those dreadful icon controlled arcade games - whoever thought they were a good idea was seriously misguided. Maybe they thought because 16 bit computers all used a mouse then they should use that over such silly "8 bit" control systems such as joysticks...though I admit this rationale is clutching at straws.

Still, my mate and I had a very good laugh at it one evening. At least it was only a fiver.

And it samples the classical music from the Old Spice advert on the title screen. For about 5 seconds. Then loops it. Very badly.

I'd like to nominate a mini-game - the CHOPSTICKS section in The Karate Kid Part II on the Atari ST.

Dear God, what on earth...?!?!?!

I was one of the idiots who bought Knight Rider ! Waited months for it and then that was one of my main buys at one of the huge shows in Olympia, gutted when i got home, it was dire.

Superbowl was another poor Ocean effort. Transformers i hoped would be so good but how crap was that ? I SOOO wanted it to be good and the transformation animation was decent but the game was soooo dull.

I'm surprised that Legend of Success Joe hasn't been featured yet. Even the name screams sh*te.

The "Make my Video" games for the Mega-CD are real classics too.
