It's real!
A great feature on the MSX, I have one but have yet to plug it in so will do that this afternnon! Also an in-dpeth feature of System Shock 2 which I've heard lots about but never played. The R-Type feature has showed up in this issue also.

Ah - home early and RG 60 is here!! And this month there is something - dare I say - joyful about it. A real celebration of retro.

Issue 59 seemed a touch dour and didnt really hit the heights for me (mainly as most of the content wasn't of particular interest to me rather than any quality problems), but issue 60 seems custom made for the Timster! Loving every page so far.

whisper it quietly...but issue 60 could be the greatest issue ever!

We had a big discussion about this and I thought that most agreed we didn't want cover mounts as we can get these from the internet

Cover looks fab and Mario Kart is my second fav gaming series ever so I should be happy!

Our's arrived today too. I need to play catch up though, I'm an issue behind (I usually read in work but I've been really busy covering for a colleague). My boyfriend has had a quick browse and says it's "packed full of cool stuff" and particularly liked the Mario Kart feature

Features: System Shock 2, product placement in games,
Making-ofs: Robotron: 2084, Zak McKracken, Ecco DotF, R-Type, Frak!
Retroinspection: MSX
Super Punch-out (The Classic Game, Transformers (Shamer)
RRs: The Ooze, Sir Lancelot, Scooby Doo, Pacific, Bubbles

... and some other bits and bobs.

Maybe it's something about the layout or feature order, but it somehow feels like there's more content than usual in this issue, even though the page count's the same.
