Christ! The Amiga allways seems to be the hard one to emulate, and that looks full speed. I'll still wait and see though, these "demos" can be tricksy...
Scott me up beamie!

No idea what this is all about. I roughly know what a Pandora is, but those links don't work at work. Whats the fuss about?

Full-speed Amiga, Playstation, N64 and god knows what else along with all the controls you can shake a (joy) stick at and all not much bigger than a heavily pregnant DS. I'll be up for that!

I'm half interested. £200 is alot to invest if it's buggy or brakes down. Which is possible for somthing like this that hasn't had million and millions spent on development like a DS or PSP. It looks nice and the demo posted above is cool (but is a reunning demo and actually playing it not two different things?)

My only issue with it is the placement of the buttons and DPad. Looks like it will be painful to use after a coupe of hours play. A bit like the old PSP was.

No that's proper in game footage. The Amiga emulator is confirmed to run at full speed, that's really the whole point of this machine; to run emulators that the GP2X just couldn't. As good as the GP2X was, I felt the main thing that let it down (apart from the shoddy control stick) was the fact it was ever-so-slightly underpowered for what it needed to do, frustratingly so. Now we will finally be able to experience the GP2X as it should have always been, fullspeed SNES, MD & Mega CD, PC Engine, C64, Amiga, Neo Geo, CPS2 and many many more.
But you are right, I won't be an early adopter I doubt, I shall wait till at least Xmas (will make a nice present for myself lol) and see how well it performs and the quality of the emulators etc.

I've been watching this for some time as i'm a huge fan of the GP32 community. Had a GP32 to begin with (Great for older systems to emulate), the GP2X i instantly ordered but it was crap for a few months till it got decent firmware.
I know Pandora isnt by the 'GP' lot and its by Craig (The UK seller of the GP devices) and does look good but i would rather wait a while to make sure it has tons of emulators and any bugs are gone after my disappointment (at first) because of the GP2X

I really don't like the way they've tried to cram both a joypad and a keyboard into the limited space on the machine. Either one or the other with USB support for what's missing would have been much preferable to me.
That said, all handhelds are going to be a compromise of some sort and if it proves to be sufficiently robust I'd be prepared to give it a go.
I'm definitely not going to be a launch customer though; I still remember the Gizmondo.
