Worse Game In The World EVER.....Round 1 Heat E

After Doom and Quake 1+2 I was getting very, very bored of FPS games then along came Half life....

I can fully understand why Half life is one of the best games ever made.

I am very, very bored of FPS again "oh great, another man with a gun in the desert, jungle or space station" No thanks....

I think my PC ran Quake too slow at the time, so for me it was Doom 1&2 on the PSX, then wait for the next innovation...

Erm, cough Oops, don't think I read this quite right

I completely backtrack that comment and put it down to a low attention span and bad skim reading skills.

1&2 were great, but other than that I only played the PS2 one, not sure if it was 'curse' or 'escape', but it was pretty poo.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I don't really like the Monkey Island games, but I would NEVER nominate them as the worst games ever. I think people are just doing it to get a reaction like this.

It's like me nominating Halo just because I was annoyed at the aliens ruining the game and everyone who had an X Box going on about how good it was all the time. I'm not that pathetic.

Just because I didn't like something doesn't mean it is rubbish. I can usually still appreciate why people might like it.

You are right though as people have done it to get a reaction. I nominated Resident Evil even though I know it isn't worse than ET or Home Alone but because it was the game that I expected the most from and got the least minute per pound from (I got pissed off with the controls and god rid of the game).
And in the back of my mind I also knew it would annoy a few people

I actually didn't nominate any because I actually really can't think of any games i've ever played that I thought were really bad, I generally only buy stuff I think i'm going to like.

I bought GT second hand, played it for a couple of days, then never put it on again. I didn't nominate it or vote for it, as it is clearly better than most other games nominated.

I enjoy the arguments, banter and defence of titles that this thread is producing. It's nice to chew it over with other gamers that can understand what you mean by a crap game.
I Hate GT and am glad it got through for the same reasons SirClive nominated Resi.. I have played worse driving games but none left me as disapointed as that title did.

Pretty much a who`s who of crap games so far, big shocker is obv gran tursimo... but gone by the wayside at round one already is Jet Set Willy, Tomb Raider, Tetris,Grand Theft Auto,Rockstar ate my hamster

Sonic The Hedgehog (Mega Dive)
Fifa Football (Various)
Doom (Various)

Good to see the half finished abomination that was Championship Manager 4 getting a few votes.

Hopefully it will make it through to the Quarter Finals like the woeful Gran Turismo ( another of my nominations ).

With the nauseous FIFA still to come, it's looking good that all three of my nominated games ( despite being very big names ) are in with a shout of making the final stages.

FIFA 95 on the MD was great for its time (that was the isometric one wasn't it?). I have just been playing FIFA 2006 on the Xbox and whilst its not the best footy game, it aint the worst.

I can guarantee* that it will get enough votes to go through to the next round though as people will be voting against the franchise ad not the games

And thats where you lose me, those three letters strike dread in my heart. If you think EAs market saturation is killing games then just count up the number of FP'bleeding'S's that are around.
