Ok...Not strictly retro i know however

How good was that FA Cup final..

As a die hard liverpool fan, i am absoultly knackered...from Carraghers own goal, to Ferdinands penalty miss..it has to be the greatest FA Cup final ever......

Just thought id share that with you!

Fantasic game of football, but Liverpools second goal came about from cheating. Check MOTD tonight and watch it again, That was never a foul and cheating like that should have been punished with a card, not a free kick...

Still one of the best games I have seen for ages and I hope Stevie G plays that well in the summer....

Yeah, good point well made....however....it was a great game, even as a liverpool fan, i wouldnt have been too upset had west ham won after a game like that, but again it proves...

As I said, check MOTD tonight and watch it again, he went down like a girl in a playground....

Still a fantastic days footy, I'm off to sleep off a few pints now, wake me up at 02.45pm on 10/06/06 when we can all start shouting and cheering all over again

As a non-football fan (not since Bob Paisley quite Liverpool), I have to say that was a footballtastic game. My girlfriend and I were glue to our seats, so much so, she nearly wet herself (she will have these silly bets with me)

I didn't care who won - they both deserved to. As for penalties - I don't think a game should be decided on them - first team to score after extra time wins! Who cares if a few players may fall over and have to be carted off to hospital - just adds to the days entertainment. Ohhhh, perhaps they should introduce lions if no one scores after extra time. That would be fun!
