Not interested in this one, so I'll pass.

After finishing the N64 version by repeating the same move over and over again I haven't looked at any other version.
The video on the Wii channel looks fun though...

Is it out today? My brother said it's available in Game today, but the release date is tomorrow.

Oh well, will have to have a look in Woolies/WHSmith/Morrissons here.

I wasnt too bothered about it tbh.

But my eldest son loves Smash Bros on the cube, so i thought it would be fun to do the missions on co-op on the new version.

Would still give it a bash online though.

Should be getting this within the next 24 hours, I'll let you know my friend code then.

Can't wait to be totally pwned online (NOT!) by all the foreigners and importers who had it for months already :(

Like me?

Actually if you were familiar with one of the returning characters, then you should be fine to slip back into playing them. A few things have been tweaked and altered but they play fairly similarly (from my experiences of playing Kirby, Pikachu, Luigi and Ganondorf are anything to go by). Some moves have been adjusted slightly, made a bit more or less powerful.

More of your time will be spent understanding the physics of the new battlegrounds, the new items and especially how to work that smash ball...

I'll be getting this over the next week or so as well, it's got to be better than that pile of censored Marion Kart.

I'm considering getting it again, but at the same time remembering how long it took to unlock some things (as far as I'm aware, the savestate from the US version isn't compatible with the EU version) and how crazy some of the later unlockables are to achieve.

I'm gonna head down to GAME soon to check out their second-hand stuff anyway so my hand might be forced in the name of online action.
