If you type 'French Military victories' into Google you get a page saying 'Did you mean French military defeats'.

If you type 'Bruce Everiss talks sense' into Google you can break the internet.

Err, your reasoning is still way off target, like so many of the missiles I fired while playing Zoids ;)
You are collecting pieces of Zoidzilla. You fight against other Zoids. As mikeb said, it was always going to be a tricky license to portray - look at the two rather poor Transformers games on 8-bit machines for a comparison.
Yeah, sorry, i actually realised a little while after I posted that I'm not sure i'd quite got the hang of the Retroshamer concept ;) For a start, I imagine it has something to do with severe lack of playability which I guess the Zoids game doesn't fall down on that much.

Yes, Breakthru on the Spectrum was rubbish too (not quite as bad as 1% though).

God that was bad. I bought that and was gutted, US Gold did some alright arcade conversions but this one was dire. Loved it in the arcades and i kept playing it (after all i spent a fair bit on the game) but no matter how much i wanted to like it i knew deep down is was awful

Ooooooh, it has to be

The C64 version of Final Fight, I was so excited when I got it, only to find that Cody and Guy look identical, the game plays like dental surgery and it has NO collision detection. I recently played it on a an emulator only to have my soul destroyed once again. Try it at your peril.
