Iron Man movie

Post by SirClive » Sat May 03, 2008 5:07 pm

Just watched it and I really enjoyed it. Many people though Rob-DJ was a bad choice for a superhero, but he played the part really well.

Anyone else seen it?

I'll wait until it comes out on DVD but I am looking forward to it, even though I'm not a Marvel fan.

I'd say it is much more like the F4 films than the likes of Spiderman.

The trailer for Dark Knight was on and that looks really good.

Saw it last night, really enjoyed the first three-quarters of it. Downey was great, Bridges was scarey looking, effects were really good to. Thought the climatic battle was a bit meh and a little too transformers for me but overall I liked it.

That doesn't inspire confidence in me as I've no desire to see the F4 films.

I have seen the F4 films and you're right not to want to watch them. Meh doesn't quite get across the apathy I have for them.

Seen. It. very good movie, alot better than i expected. Mr Downy Jr has turned out to be a bit of an inspired choice to play Tony Stark. Be interesting to see what the next part will be like

Saw it last night, really enjoyed it. Thought it was a marginally better flick than Transformers (which I also liked) due to the charismatic performance of Downey Jr. Basically a very good, silly, FX laden summer popcorn flick. Nice last line too :)
