Beat 'em ups that should be made...

Koopa42's artistic talents on other threads got me thinking....

What beat 'em ups would you like to see made.?
I think the BBC beat 'em up would be a fun start. You could have Dot Cotton Vs Lister from Red Dwarf or tag team battles featuring Neil & Vivian from The Young Ones Vs Tubbs and Edward from The league of Gentleman.. What special move's would you want give your new fighting stars..?

A capcom beat-em-up with Transformers in thanks.
Obviously Megatron's super would be turning into a gun and being fired by starscream.
And optimus could run people over.
And no I'm not a geek.

Well maybe a little.

I'd buy that for a dollar

but I might ask the peeps at AM2 to do it using the VF2 engine, that'd be sweet, I think chunky 3d graphics would suit it better

I suspect when the live-action Transformers movie comes out next year such videogames will be more than likely.

A Transformers beat 'em up?

As long as it featured Gen1 characters from the off or as unlockables then great. If it didn't there'd be hell to pay.

I donâ€™t think anyone has ever made a fighting game out of the old â€˜Giverâ€™ B movie series of films. A 3D beat-em-up based on this might be interesting.

My favourite TV based would include getting to â€˜retireâ€™ the entire cast of east-enders and Corry though

It's Generation 1 characters or nothing.
And none of that Beast Wars nonsense either.
Optimus Primal? WTF?
I'm allowing any characters up to and including the Movie from 1986 in my game!

Soundwave would be rock hard!

Using Rumbles earthquake thingy and Frenzy's sonic noisy whatsit he'd cain everybody.

But would it be fancy 3D or traditional 2D like the cartoon?

For me 2D all the way!

Although it'd be nice to see Gen1 3D models.

It would be both.
Transformers game would be so awesome that it would be developed twice!
once in 3D and once in 2D.
It would use a Capcom 90000000000000 meg up-grade cartridge and be only on Jap Saturn in 2d, and the 3D one would be released simultaneously on Dreamcast using all it's hidden power to prove to the world it was amazing and in fact the best 3D console of all time.
As well as an Xbox 360 version on the side.

Soundwave and Blaster would be the Ryu and Ken of the transfomers game.

And Unicron would be unlockable, but only his toe would fit on the screen!!

Ummm... how about a beat 'em up where you get to beat up whinging protesters and over-zealous civil libertarians? That'd be cool... it could be called "Hippie Patrol" and Yob from Mean Machines could be the main playable character, as well as Vinnie Jones and Russell Crowe. Think final fight with more University drop-outs and Pot-reeking wankers. Plus, the best part - Cartman from South Park as an unlockable character.

In fact, I'm off to write the code...

Tiswas vs Swap Shop. The Tiswas folks were definately harder. What with the Phantom Flan Flinger and a bucket-of-water special move. I don't think Cheggers would be that tough either....Although Posh Paws may balance things up...

How about 'Slash Fighter' - a beat em up featuring all the slasher movie icons such as Jason, Freddy, Michael Myers, Leatherface, Ghost Face etc?

I have an idea to try and make this using MUGEN at some point...
