Games that aren't too hard to complete!
What common(ish) games are reasonably easy to complete. Many retro games are notoriously difficult and I am quick to anger when I can't get off the first level of something. I have considered the possiblilty I'm just cr@p at games but I also believe some of you are in the same boat. Mario 64 is a good example for me where you can play and reach 70 stars with reasonable effort where there is still challenge for the pros to aim for all 120.
Oh yeah, R-type, I hate you!

I class myself as a very poor gamer, so any game that I can complete must be pretty easy.
Therefore;
Oddworld: Abes Oddyssey on PS1
Star Wars Lego (any of them on any system)
Target Renegade on Speccy
...and thats about it.
Oh and with R-Type, I can regularly get to level 4 on 1 life, but have never completed level 4

master system games never had much gameplay to them either..most of the later games being dumbed down mega drive games!

Attach the force to the rear of the R9 - that's the key to that stage.

The only Sonics I've ever completed are Chaos and Aventure.

Well that cant be entirely true as the SMS came out 3 years befor the SMS. But it's true in its later life it was seen more as a kids console and so did get some dumbed down MD releases.mohicankid wrote:any master system game...i havn't found one i can't beat!

I wouldnt agree that Alex Kidd in Miracle World is easy. Lost Stars and Shinobi World are far easyer.
There are plenty of tough SMS games, perhaps you just happend to have owned some of the easyer ones. Try Terminator, Indiana Jones, Cloud Master (Euro not US), The Ninja and Power Strike. All of thease present a tough challenge imo.
Edit* sorry.. this was a thread about easy games

Yeah, one of the few 8-bit games I completed no problem, although the electrically charged floors were a pain.Sputryk wrote:Bruce Lee, especially on the Speccy and very easy to amass loads of lives on, too.
The Goonies was another 8-bit game I completed but the puzzles on that took me ages to complete. Completing Ocarina of Time (in particular the Water Temple before I had access to the Internet to help me!) was bloody tough.
