There was a loading system on the C64 where games would load in thirty seconds or under. It was for games that had been hacked and pirated. So it was possible to get fifty or more games on a C90. Rather than pressing Run/Stop and shift, you had to type the back arrow key and L then Return.

Stunt Car Racer on the Amiga.
An awesome game that loaded in about 30 seconds!

Yup, about twenty on the cassette counter depending on the deck and an
incredibly high bitrate - but not particuarly reliable on a badly-aligned tape deck, has to be said...

Whoops! 8-bit tape games? Sorry!
Ok, it's gotta be 3D Deathchase on the Speccy.

Crazy Comets and Skramble (by Anirog) are the shortest tape loading games I have. Both hit about 25 on the counter.

some games seemed to take ages, but when you whack the loading tunes into SIDplay and you see the timer you realise it was mere youthful impatience.
dunno how long my copy of tau ceti took to load though, hated the game but loved the invade-a-load so the stop button got hit when it appeared

@sack
Love the hex signature! It really took me back! Setting the foreground and border to black on the 64
LDA #0
STA $D020
STA $D021
RTS
I can't believe I still remember the 6502 op-codes!
Made me chuckle in a very nerdy way
