High Score - The Missile Command Record Breaking Documentary

Post by roberthazelby » Sat Mar 18, 2006 10:28 am

Afternoon gang,

I've just been browsing Digg (www.digg.com) and found a link to this:

http://www.highscoremovie.com/

It's only a trailer, but thought some of you may find it interesting. I don't know how to get hold of the full documentary though.

Mental.

I'm sure some of you have played games all weekend, but even I have stopped for pee-breaks and food.

Can you imagine playing a game solid for over 2 days, without rest or anything? You'd hallucinate.

There's a bit in the first 'Twin Galaxies' book which details some chap playing 'Q*bert' for hours on end. The pseudo 3D of the blocks started to go really screwy in his head after a certain point, so someone had to come in and tell him which parts were the top of each block.

Thats a pretty cool trailer.

If I was him, I'd have a 3-course meal before he starts and I have'nt a clue what he's gonna do if he needs the toilet.

Here`s a link to a topic on Twin galaxies , where they discuss the film . There`s also info on how to see it , though it`s unlikely we in the UK will get to see it anytime soon
