Cadburys Chocolate Advert with the Gorilla

Has anyone seen this advert with that digitally animated gorilla that start playing away on the drum to that old Phill Collins song 'In the air tonight'?

Did you know because of that advert, the song has been re-released back into the charts in the Top 20?

I couldn't believe it myself, I saw the music video of it on the Hits Channel on the Official UK Top 40 single the other day and I could not believe how early 80's it looked (ancient more like) since the song was originally released back in the early 80's.

It's a good song though, but very old.

What does everyone else think?

It isn't a digital gorilla, it's a bloke in a suit.

Also, couldn't see what the fuss was about myself, thought it was an ok ad for a choccy bar....

First time i saw the advert it was very good, bit bored of it now.

Who would have thought Phil Collins was 'cool' again and one of his songs was in the top 20 ?

I normally vote tories but that year he promised to leave the UK if Labour got into power (which they did) had me and many others voting Labour. The fact he then didnt go was a crime in itself

The first time I saw it was when channel 4 had the remake of king kong on, I was channel flicking at the time and I saw this closeup of an ape whith phil collins playing in the background and I thought to myself, "I don't remember this in king kong"

Duhhh ! (slaps head) . I think you are right ! DUH ! Sorry i was thinking of irritating people who i would like to leave the country and i thought it was Phil Collins but thats offensive to Phil as Paul Daniels is much worse.

Weird - the scene with Crockett and Tubbs driving along in one of the first episodes was hailed as a landmark in music/TV... very little sound from the 'world', leaving most of the work to "In the Air Tonight..."

I must be one of the few people to love Genesis and Phil Collins music... but I think you're right - he did threaten to leave the country ALONG with Paul Daniels.

I think Jeremy Clarkson made the threat too.

I've not seen this advert, but is it a digital gorilla, or is it a bloke in a monkey suit? I'm confused how one could confuse the two!!
