PGR 3 is a good-un. I also like DOA.

Call of Duty 2
Dead Rising
Saints Row

Some of these may not actually be in the range but they can certainly be had for the same prices.

Test Drive Unlimited.

Does tooling round a REALLY faithfully recreated Hawaii, buying cars and house, entering races and doing time trials on the real roads appeal in any way?

If so, buy it. NOW. I can spend considerable time just driving round the island (or riding a Kawasaki) but the core game is good too.

Other than that PGR3, Dead Rising, Ridge Racer 6,Oblivion, Crackdown and Tomb Raider : Legend are all good examples of their respective genres.

Oblivion is a truly majestic title. I wasn't a PC gamer back when Daggerfall and Arena was released, but I bought Morrowind and I fell in love with it. I loved the free nature of it! I bought Oblivion on the X360 and spent an enormous amount of time on it, then I bought the PC version - but once again I realized that I don't really like playing games on the PC.

Now just recently I got Oblivion for the PS3, and have once again fallen into the fantastic world of Cyradiil.

And yes, I enjoyed Test Drive Unlimited as well, but unfortunately I was severely disappointed with the online mode. It wasn't an mmo racing game at all, it was basically the same as any other free-roaming racers, but with option to play online. Lag was also a serious issue with the game when I played it.

I don't have Gold anymore, since I don't see the reason to pay for a service that I'm offered free on either the PC or PS3. But for those who do have Gold, TDU is a great game, if they've fixed the severe lagging issues.

Test Drive Unlimited is superb, I liked it so much I was tempted to pick it up on the PSP.

Other decent games

PGR3
Prey (£9 on Play)
Saints Row

You won't find a game online now anyway unless you organise it with friends. I keep meaning to do so with you guys and WOS just in an attempt to mop up an achievement or two.

Whilst not in the classic range Amped 3 can be picked up for around 10 to 15 quid, so far it's the game I've spent most time on on the 360.

I just bought my Xbox 360 a few days ago, and instantly went for Dead Rising. It's a great game, one that made me bought the Xbox, even though I swore I'd never buy a Microsoft console...
Saints Row should be good too, this'll probably be my next buy.

Kameo is a great game if a little short.

Go to www.uk.gamestracker.co.uk to find the cheapest prices for games. I've found some MAJOR bargains using that site.
