As I wait impatiently for Lego Batman, I was wondering which old school Batman is more popular!
I've only included the titles from the last century as anything newer isn't really retro yet. Feel free to specify your favourite format as some versions were better than others e.g. Batman Returns SNES vs MD.
Other titles include:
Batman: Gotham City Racer (PSX)
Batman: Return of the Joker (PSX/N64/GBC)
Batman Vengeance (GC/PS2/XBox/GBA)
Batman Dark Tomorrow (GC/XBox)
Batman Rise of Sin Tzu (GC/PS2/XBox/GBA)
Batman Begins (GC/PS2/XBox/GBA)
Sorry if I've missed out your favourite ...

I loved Batman the Movie on C64 as well as on the Amiga. I liked the first Batman game on the Gameboy too. Never played any of the newer titles though...

I voted for 'Batman: The Caped Crusader'.
I just love the comic book feel of it.

Spectrum version! (Ritman one)
I played Caped Crusader (IIRC) on the ST - was good too.
Only ever played 1 other version which was on the PC Engine I think - not that good though.

I really like Batman Returns on the Snes, though I liked 'The Adventures of Batman & Robin' better, a very well made game, lovely graphics and a joy to play, you really must check it out.
Isn't it quite rare on the Mega CD?

Which was the one that you got packaged in a nice Batman box with Amigas from Silica?
That one.

I have played and enjoyed; The Batman movie cartridge for the Commodore 64, The Comic Batman game for the Commodore 64 and am currently playing and enjoying the Gameboy monochrome version. The Amiga version from the magazine looks amazing too.

I've always thought the first gameboy version was the best one, spent quite a bit of time playing that one.

The best Batman I have ever played was on the NES by Sunsoft. The GameBoy 1990 release was also very decent.

Definately Batman The Movie on Amiga
One of the first games to really show what the Amiga was capable of

Batman The Movie, though its the only version of Batman I have played out of the whole lot. I had it for the CPC, like it, then got it for the Amiga which I liked even more. The 2nd level with the Batmobile is probably the best ever car scene done on the Amiga.

Batman The Movie... it's a good game on the 8-bit machines, but the 3D sections on the Amiga are superb

I went with Batman The Movie too, superb quality release from Ocean on the 8-bits (and Amstrad)
