Desert Island Game Choice

Post by Scooby1970 » Thu Mar 09, 2006 5:12 am

If you were stuck on an island, and had only ONE game that you could play on any format (good job there was electricity on the island!), what game would it be?

I guess, if I had to have just one game to play then it would be R-Type on the Amiga or SMS. I have been playing this game for years, and it never get's dull.

How about you? Which game will it be?

And if you have an answer, why not add it to this thread, which is essentially the same thing, so we can have a forum "100 great games"?

Erm.... The one game you want want to be stuck with, and the top 100 games are entirely different!

You may have a favourite game, but it need not be the game you would want to take with you for a number of reasons. The game you would want to be stuck with would probably be something that gives you a challenge and that you have never completed, but on a desert island you would have that chance!

As for the top 100 games of all time, I'm still waiting for the number 1 spot for "Zub" :D

Anyways, thanx for contributing to this new thread!

It might get a bit dull if there's no player 2 stuck on the island with you :)

Splatterhouse arcade. I can play it to death then rip all the insides of the cab out and floot away on a nice calm sea.

If I can have the developers CD too, I'll take Uplink

If not, then I really need to do some hardcore thinking. So many games I'd love to spend huge amounts of time with....

Probably FF7 or FF8 - they take ages to complete and there's so many hidden tasks, sub-tasks, games and secrets you could happily play on it for yeeears and probably still not uncover it all.
