So, I have owened a Nintendo Wii for a month now............
and am bored of Wii Sports, sold Tiger Woods (cos its crap), am bored of Wario Ware and have finished Rayman Raving Rabids.
Only game I am still playing (and bloody loving) is Res Evil.
So, what games should I buy next (am done with party games)?
Is Scarface any good?

The last RPG I played was Times of Lore on the C64 - Will I be able to pick up and play or will it just confuse the f**k out of me?gmintyfresh wrote:Without question Zelda, it's bloody amazing!!
good too, very quick and the controls work wonderfully.

I currently have Excite Truck and Resi 4, and both are bloody brilliant, you'll be hard pushed to choose between 'em. The control system on Excite Truck in particular works really well, and feels really intuitive. A MUST.
Only get Zelda if you are into Zelda. I got it as my first ever foray into the series, and was quickly bored with it - but it's a well turned out game for fans of the series.

Interesting view, am starting to think that way too. Tiger Woods is one of my fav games and thought it utter poop on the Wii. The only other game I play on the Wii is Mario Kart Double Dash!! - Am thinking about PS3 although the line up doesn't interest me much at the mo.............Shin_Gouki wrote:Tacked on controls and a p!ss-poor lineup speak for themselves...learnedrobb wrote:Zelda

Wii a lost cause......what planet you on the Shin?
Having said that Wii sports is tolerable. For a short while.

I'd like to believe it, really I would.GarryG wrote:What like the Poor Sales 3 you meanShin_Gouki wrote:Sell it and invest in some classic titles - the Wii is a lost cause![]()
Naa, the Wii will become a classic system, like it or not!
It's a mass market product, and that's where gaming is going...
I wanted this system to be the one that restored my faith in modern gaming. So far it's let me down immensely. There seems to be more than a few kiddie-themed games on the system, no Mario for almost a year now and mini-game madness that wore thin really quickly. Add to that the fact that the lineup has barely grown (at least here in Oz, not sure how the situation is across the pond) since November last year and you'll see what I mean.
Sure the Wii may be some people's thing, but I'm glad I didn't drop the cash at launch or shortly after like I planned. Thank God for the DS - this is the system that has restored my faith, it's fantastic.

Tacke don....only because people are struggling to adapt games to the control method. Games like Excite Truck use the motion sensitive controls exceptionally well (As does EAs Harry Potter OOTP surprisingly). 2 gen titles will see an improvement in this.Tacked on controls and a p!ss-poor lineup speak for themselves...
Poor line up? Sure, it isn't creaking under the weight of triple-A titles, but there is some real class in there. And the future looks great. Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, Res Evil...thats 'AAA' quality right there.
