Which is better: Sinclair or Amstrad?

Amstrad.
Everyone had 'their' machine in the 80s and you wouldn't normally think twice about buying the competitor machine as well - there wasn't much point when games were 99% of the time released on all 3 formats. More people had Speccy's and C64s yes, but they came slightly before Amstrad. We all have our rose tinted spectacles blah blah ...
I had a ZX and a CPC, but the choice of having a couple of colours or 16 colours, plus with the inbuilt tape deck was far more reliable for loading games (that is before Amstrad themselves bought out Sinclair and re-made them) put simply the CPC won out every time and the Speccy put in the cupboard.
Dont get me wrong - I loved the Speccy, but I love the Amstrad more
