As much as I love Speedball II (with all the 'ice cream, ice cream' I can eat) I have to say The Chaos Engine. Wonderful Dickensianesque graphics, great sound and a fine learning curve. It's a tough nut to crack even in Cheat Mode!

Chaos Engine - not only one of the Amiga's finest two-player games but enhanced enormously by some superb context-sensitive music. All of which was down to Richard Joseph, perhaps his finest on the Amiga.
And I liked the character cards you got in the box. A nice touch, but the music's definitely the clincher.

Gods. Mainly because it's the only one I can remember playing!

By and large, and over rated back catalogue, but Speedball 2 and Chaos Engine actually live up to the hype, with Speedball 2 edging it in the playability stakes.

Speedball 2, not only exceptionally addictive but still playable today. Nobody ever talks about how good it was, they talk about how good it is!

Tough question. I liked the one that had sunglasses in it and/or featured the word 'Nashwan'.

For God I want an Atari ST full page add drooling nostalgia: 'Gods'.
For actual game play: Chaos Engine.
...and who said Magic Pockets? Pffft.

The Chaos Engine! The 2 player co-operative feature was way ahead of its time and the ideas it had, for 1992, were breathtaking. Even the music was fantastic, a strength that the bitmap brothers always had. plus it had that unique shiny look to the graphics that was unique to the Amiga.
I finished the game with no cheats! I'll never forget walking around the chaos engine and the angry green face in the middle....ah memorys!

Got to be Speedball 2 on the Amiga...
Superb gameplay, spot on GFX, SFX, well it's got one of the best known and often quoted samples EVER!!
But, don't download it to your phone, had it on my K750i and after 2 weeks the joystick on it was buggered!! Had to replace the phone!!
