I got a copy on Staurday woo hoo, only not had the time to play it over the weekendDanDare wrote:Let me know what you think if you pick it up.Wildnites wrote:Cool I got paid today, maybe I will tread myselfDanDare wrote:Yes. I would recommend it fully. It's one of the best games I have ever played on any system. The story and characters are believable and engaging.
Try not to read many reviews (or the manual) but instead play through it and you'll find a charming game with many surprises and twists.
The only thing that I would say is that it is a slow game with a lot of dialogue. If you like fast-pace, then you'll hate it. Then again in the age of trade-ins it's win/win!

The bit I have played, I really enjoyed, I look forward to giving it a serious play tonight

Please Sir I cannot tell a lie......
Yes, play it at night. Get a nice glass of something and immerse yourselfWildnites wrote:I got a copy on Staurday woo hoo, only not had the time to play it over the weekendDanDare wrote:Let me know what you think if you pick it up.Wildnites wrote: Cool I got paid today, maybe I will tread myself

Resident Evil 4 Wii edition purchased today. Only played the first few minutes, but the wiimote makes things much easier than the GC version. Mind you, I never played much further on GC...
Spiderman 2 GC has been getting an outing as I humm and hahh about Spiderman 3 for Wii. I didn't like 2 first time round so didn't really play it much, but this time I'm enjoying it. Bodes well for the Wii version if I can forgive its ugliness.
Onto the final level of Halo last night. Bit annoyed as I'd played a fair way through it and powered off, forgetting to save for the checkpoint, so I'm back to the start of the level.
Hurrican needs to get an outing.

Got a bit stuck in FFX at the final run of bosses, so rather than spending hours grinding to level up a bit, I put FFXII in and had a quick dabble...
A week later, and I'm over 35 hours in and absolutely loving it! Best Final Fantasy yet in my opinion and could possibly be the first one I bother to spend time 100%-ing.

I actually completed a game yesterday! Been a while. It was the very first Final Fantasy, on my PS1 copy of FF Origins which I have owned for years but always given up on around Elfheim due to the tedious grinding. Once I forced myself to get past that I actually found myself enjoying it.
I used Fighter, Black Belt, White Mage, Black Mage.

Why retro? Because you never forget your first love.
