Gremlins 2 on the NES was quite good, too.
the amiga version was passable, but the Nes version erally shone.
the graphics beat anything that had been done before.
its a shame i gave my nes to my nephew.......damn my sister!!!

Star Wars on the Master System is bloody good. And Alien 3 on the Megadrive and SNES. Very different games, but brilliant both.

One of the most under-rated games on the 3DO. Casper - against all the odds -- apathy, desire to cash-in by the publishers, it's Casper FFS, this game is pretty good. Also, considering the platform
It is region protected, unusual for the 3DO.
I should also mention Demolition Man on 3DO which is OKish too.

My god, thank you for reminding me! My dad bought me that as a treat on Holiday in the Norfolk Broads, but I didnt have my SNES with me, had to wait 5 whole days (which to a 14 yr old with a new game equates to about a year) till I got home and put it on! What a game, now you got me thinking about my top 5 movie licences...............thl wrote:Batman Returns on the SNES was absolutely brilliant.

Anyway, my main memory of that game is being able to pick up a thug and fling him against a wall in the background. I thought they really nailed down the sound of bone crunching against brick.

Well, I imagine thats what it would sound like
It's a me...Mario!
