Dragged out my DVD copy of Ultramarines, CGI really hasn't aged well but it's alright if you are into 40k and you can find it cheap (it is actually on youtube in it's entirety but its real poor quality).
Slowly working my way to the Xmas movies too, been stuck watching some awful hallmark/movies 24 ones with my parents which are literally copy and paste tired tropes that dontusually have anything to do with Christmas but still slap Christmas stuff all over it.
Not acctually feeling festive yet but remember kids, it's not Christmas until Hans Gruber falls off a roof.

Cobra Kai, seasons 1 & 2. Very enjoyable, much better than I even expected.

Re: What Films/TV Have you Watched Recently?
Tenet. People you don't care about doing stuff you don't care about for reasons you don't care about. The trailer and opening few minutes promised something action packed that would offer twists, turns and reveals. That might be the case, but the lack of investment in the characters, what they're doing or why they're doing it made it the dullest, most disappointing movie I've seen in ages. These aren't even the usual cardboard cutout action movie characters, they're something less than that. I like a dumb action movie, but this was a dumb action movie trying to be clever and utterly failing. Dreadful to the point it might even move Lost in Translation from my personal 'worst movie' spot, and that's saying something.
2036: Origin Unknown. Low budget AI focused movie starring Katee Sackhoff. A bit too obvious and again, not as clever as it wants to be. It's a bit like 'my first sci-fi', where if you've had little exposure to these things there's possibly some enjoyment to be had. When you've been devouring this stuff for over 4 decades, it covered too much old ground and wasn't so much a homage as a retread of things like 2001 (and maybe even Battlestar Galactica).

Hilda series 2, kinda binge watched it all Monday as I was drifting in and out of sleep, its on par with the first series, comfy stuff, I hate TBC endings
Sonic Boom,
They seem to keep it away from "Sonic fights Robotnik" every week and has it them doing stuff humorously every week, as well as poking fun at the series and fanbase.......

Watched Tin Star season 3 over two days. The earlier two series were quite slow and drawn out but very good
This series was very over the top. Tons of action and killing but enjoyed it. Shame it’s the last of it

Sonic The Hedgehog
Well.
Not as bad as I feared, but still pretty cliched in places.
Love the little dig at Nintendo (“A land full of mushrooms”) and Sonic calling Robotnik Eggman.
But where I felt Detective Pikachu really succeeded in building its own world, setting this in our world was pretty lazy. And Jim Carrey was just Jim Carrey, it was only really that short pre-credits scene that was clever.

Eureka and Warehouse 13.
Recently completed both box sets with my wife (who NEVER usually watches science fiction) and loved every minute of both series. For want of a better word, just really 'nice' TV. Well acted, well written, fun and feel-good.

Tetris world champion ships final, bloody hell, it goes a bit fast
Sport climbing girls, it was a SUPER INTERESTING series, they really liked those "Dynamic angles"
Still puzzled as to why when he went all super he didnt go Super Sonic
And that he didnt send Robotnik flying with only 8 hits

Its kinda what you would expect from a Sonic film.
