White lines - finished it finally

This was quite hyped up on Netflix. Started off okay but got very bored of it. Watched it to the end but it wasn’t great sadly

Snowpiercer next
We watched White Lines. We stuck with it, but it got a bit ridiculous by the end.

Yeah the trailer was very good, first episode was amusing and then it turned a bit more dark. Apparently they've signed up for a second season.

The First Team (BBC Two, all episodes on iPlayer) - football-based comedy from the creators of The Inbetweeners. Some funny moments and probably great if you are a big football fan.

Space Force (Netflix, 10 episodes) - so in the time Trump put together a flag for his real-life Space Force, Steve Carrell and Greg Daniels wrote and recorded a whole series on the subject. Full of top names including Lisa Kudrow and John Malkovich, but it never really hit the heights for me.

Good one!
Yeah, I mean, it's all pretty plausible - from the awful social media consultant to the President's wife designing the uniforms - but there were several plot threads that felt clunky to me. Will be interesting to see if Netflix renews it.

That's Wings of Honneamise, originally known as Royal Space Force. So, kinda topical. :)

It's probably my favourite anime film of all time, but I guess it's way too arty for most people. Imagine an alternate universe First Man, with the soundtrack from The Last Emperor and the art style of Evangelion but with none of the tropes and you'd be about half way there. I like all of those too, by the way.

Im ok with arty, but it didnt hold my interest, think im feeling a bit anime burnt out after watching almost all of these.

Did watch Dead leaves, bit mental

Yeah, Dead Leaves is a bit out there. Love the art style, but it could have used a more coherent story.

I've watched most of those at least once, although I'd probably not choose to watch too many of them twice.

Roujin-Z was good fun though. It's as though Katsuhiro Otomo realized that he wasn't going to top Akira, so did something very wacky instead.

Warriors of the Wind is ruined by bad editing and dubbing. You can watch the far better and unedited Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind on Netflix now though, along with nearly every other Studio Ghibli film. If you're going to watch anime until you burn out, that'd seem a far better way of going about it.

Oh, and I've a soft spot for Wicked City. The live action version is indeed terrible though.

The pile on the right is the keepers. Im getting rid of the rest
No idea why im keeping Warriors of the wind, think its historical significance is better than what it is, also it is the only thing I ever got from that mega expensive game/stuff store in Afflecks palace (only cost 50p)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nausica%C ... f_the_Wind
I still have two (smaller than they where last month) stacks of DVDs to watch and maybe chuck in the get rid box

Why would anybody want to watch fake crap like Big Brother? Watch something real like wrestling.
I dont think ive actully used my TV for watching TV since the 6 nations was on

Finally watched all my anime DVD backlog, there was a lot of "This is boring"
Lupin the 3rd - The first
Wow, this is one of the best animated CG films ive seen, so detailed and yet still cartoony, the film its self is bloody great, a lot of the usual bait switch stuff happening.

I made the mistake of watching Big Brother live during the day once, literally people sleeping doing naff all.

Carried on watching the Purge series and watched a few old movies on Sky Comedy, still rarely watch the TV though as just cant pay attention to it.
Watching you sleep since 1990

Watch something real like wrestling.
I put on the Countdown show + The Buy in for the recent Double or Nothing AEW PPV.
I could watch the main PPV tonight or tomorrow if I get the chance.
The Tag Team match in the Buy in Pre show was pretty cool.
