Working like a SOB to get the arcade clean (usually a two person job that they take twice as long to do) then work hard again to do other things.
Sit down for a rest and get told to fill the fridge and next day get told off for not doing the dishes.
TL;DR - being overworked and underappreciated

Ordered a £30 book for a Christmas present from a seller on Amazon, obviously I check their feedback history and it looks good. Of course after I ordered a week ago I wonder why it hasn't arrived yet, I check their feedback again to see if others have had problems and now there's dozens of customers reporting their books haven't turned up either, and they can't get a response or refund from the seller.
Just great! So do I order again from somewhere else and risk ending up with two copies? Will I even get a refund if the seller's just gone dark?
It's bad enough businesses acting like this at the best of times, but at Christmas!
I seem to be having bad luck with this. When DQXI was released I pre-ordered it from an ebay business, perfect feedback etc, then when I ordered suddenly they were having "paypal issues" and I had to wait 5 weeks to get a refund from ebay.

Amazon are very good at refunds if you contact them compare to eBay which takes forever
The few times I’ve had an issue they’ve refunded me almost immediately.

Second that for the most part although I had issues with a jacket and it took reporting the buyer for the guy to sort it, guy acctually insisted ringing late at night and insisted I remove the stuff before he'd sort it as well.

Thanks guys, got my refund from Amazon sorted. The seller's feedback score is now down to 8%!
Virtually nobody got their stuff this month, and nobody got a reply from them, just what you need at Christmas. One the plus side I've actually had some great customer service from private ebay sellers.

Bad time of year for it Mike. Christmas staff will have cleared off leaving a mess of paperwork in their wake, and most people have only been back at it for a couple of days. Give it a week or so and they should be back into the swing of things and perhaps you'll see some movement.

Movement is needed sooner rather than later

Second this and the approach to April as they get conservative with their personel budgets so don't be discouraged by lack of bites, something will happen eventually.Antiriad2097 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 3:17 amBad time of year for it Mike. Demands for feedback, once upon a time you just put a slip in a box on your way out the door if you had something to say but now it's emails and texts pestering for it.

If it makes you feel better, I was told yesterday I didn't get a job I applied for, so I feel your pain.

Ive been considering a 12 hour a week minimum wage job ("Overtime" might happen)
Only downsides I can see is its an early start and it probably won't be enough to live on.
Been trying to find out what rent and council tax reductions I could get.
I have a savings account and some spare money
I could do other freelance things

People's inability to accurayely describe things they're selling, would save us both a lot of hassle if they could.
