Non-gaming music that reminds you of game music

This track reminds me of something from Perfect Dark and/or GoldenEye on the N64. I can't quite place it to a particular tune (anyone?), so although I haven't played either game for a couple of years, maybe it's more about the atmosphere:

I asked the guitarist and he didn't know what I was talking about, saying it was inspired by Radiohead's Kid A (maybe the N64 wasn't well known in Poland). Anyway, I love the track, and it's partly thanks to the GoldenEye and Perfect Dark nostalgia I get from it.

I suppose another is much of Joe Hisaishi's music, particularly for Studio Ghibli, which reminds me of hours spent on the likes of Secret of Mana and Terranigma: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_apNFcDsRg

Apart from the obvious chiptunes stuff and covers (I think of Dynamite Dan whenever I hear Rondo Alla Turca), are there other songs that remind you of a particular game or level music?

Quite a few electronic acts reminds me of the atmospheric type of thing you would hear around the PS1 era, up to modern. One that comes to mind for me is the Trent Reznor/NIN Ghosts I-IV.

I always thought Gary Numan would create top notch game soundtracks loaded with atmosphere, and I do like his opening song on The Evil Within, although he didn't write it
