Hi Score Girl (Anime)

Post by dste » Sat Feb 09, 2019 10:13 pm

I know that we have the Anime thread but I thought I would give this a special mention to non-Anime fans to at least watch the first five minutes of the series on Netflix as the gaming related material is fantastic.

The story is pretty meh but they use footage of a lot of fighting games from 1987 onwards as well as from consoles such as the NES, SNES, Saturn and TurboGrafx-16. I would seriously recommend just giving it a once over.

Watched some fan subs of it earlier on in the year, then on Netflix, then on Netfix in dub

The Dub is decent

I watched the first few MINUTES!

It was TERRIBLE!

The written dialogue was CHILDISH AND UNINTERESTING!

The voice performance sounded like an excited Shaggy from SCOOBY DOO!

I can't see THE ATTRACTION!

Ha ha.

Yeah, the actual Anime is possibly one of the worst that I've ever watched but honestly, the games involved are fantastic.
