Yeah I zoomed out when I first loaded it up- then the two DLCs installed and two whole new maps appearedThe Last Ginja wrote: ↑Sun Feb 03, 2019 12:33 pmI started it this week. You're not wrong! Already about 12.5 hours in and loving it. Have you zoomed the map right out yet? It's bloody massive, probably going to take me another 70 hours to see it all![]()
I picked up the Spyro remastered trilogy yesterday it's great fun.

There's a new button at the bottom marked 'Atlas' that zooms you out even further.

Medal of Honor Frontline again. This time on the PS3.
Re: What are you currently playing?
I played through both last week. Pharaohs's Curse is by far the better of the two. Has quite a considerable amount of gameplay included, plenty of side quests, new enemies and some damn beautiful new locations in the Egyptian Afterlife.
On my end, felt like playing something that wasn't an open world RPG so replayed Command and Conquer 1 with both factions. The GDI campaign is overall the better of the 2, as it provides more of a challenge. The Nod campaign isn't bad either, but the best unit from Nod (the stealth tank) pails in comparison to the Mammoth tank that GDI gets. Excellent music, plot, FMVs etc. Love this game. We need new RTS games.
Halfway through the Nod campaign, since I play games pretty often, thought I'd give Twitch streaming a go. Took quite some time to get working properly with Dosbox, but got it working eventually. Hockland666 is my channel name on there. You can see the last Nod mission I played on there + plan on streaming gaming play throughs from here on. Both new stuff and retro.

So due to the awesomeness that is Spyro, AC:Origins took a back seat. I've platinumed Spyro 1 and now working my way through 2. They're so much fun.
I've also been playing a fair amount of Apex Legends, and while it has a steep learning curve it's an amazing game. I'm consistently getting into the last 6, and tonight 3 times into the final 2 squads. Although we did get outclassed right at the end everytime
I do have a couple of wins under my belt though so that's nice!

Got killed by the final boss on Dead Cells for the last time (god-damnit!
)
Taking a break by playing PS4 Doom - that game is just so much fun, and I love how it turned the FPS-standard on its head by forcing you to become aggressive to try and stay alive.

Yakuza 0. I played 1-4 on release but my PS3 broke half way through the fifth. So with the re-releases I've just started from scratch. It's a blast playing as majima.
Re: What are you currently playing?
Looks like my Dead Cells file is corrupted. The game froze on a loading screen between areas and now it won't load the save file at all. Gutted.

Ico HD remaster - picked up this and Shadow of the Collossus a while back, but for one reason or another never went back to it.
SMB1 2 3 64 and Sunshine - in varying degrees. Loving the NES games, like old friends, especially satisfying getting theough the tough levels on 3. Sunshine is better than I remember, but it never has the "one more shine" that the Galaxy titles have.
