Have you considered a actually joining in with the forum rather than just turning up here to spam your vids?

You might find you get some engagement that way too.

Are you a mod? Because I notice you've been doing this to a few people. If they aren't breaking any rules is it down to you to tell people what they should be doing? If it's only advice I appreciate that, but I don't appreciate being lectured.

And since when has sharing a video link on a post designed for that considered 'spamming'?? I make sure I only share my posts where they are allowed. It's not like I force people to read the posts. Grinds my gears that people have to knock you for trying to do things the right way.

Like I said, if this is only advice then I apologise deeply for overreacting, but it hits a nerve when I feel like I'm being told off. I don't post on certain sites like Reddit for that reason alone, as they make you feel like a criminal if you dare to do something wrong. I have autism and it is hard for me to converse with people. I do try, but it is a struggle. It's also hard when I feel like I'm being told off for trying to do what I believe is the right thing

They are breaking rules. You are supposed to have 50 posts before you start posting links to stuff.

I am also autistic but I have no problem understanding the rules and joining in.

You will find that if you do make an effort to be part of the community far more people will watch your content.

It’s frustrating when people join just to solely spam their YouTube channel and not join in generally or talk about the magazine which the forum is about.

Read the rules

Wish these people’s posts would be deleted

The content is pretty good though! As for mods :D There aren't any! A few yanks posted a few times with 'BIG IDEAS' for the forum and then scuttled off back to their more important things to do.

Personally, I'd give the guy a break - Autism has been used as an excuse, and believe me when I say THAT has been used as defence by others many times before. So, give the guy a break and watch his vids - better than a lot of stuff that gets posted here.

Only another 30 more posts and he can spam to his heart's content? Heh? As a long time member on this forum, I've observed moderator-type-attitudes like the above done on other members, you are not moderator or any given right to tell people how its gonna go..get a grip..again...rather than a more grateful approach firstly to give the people submitting video posts as..using the term "Spamming the forum" which is straight away a negative! But propose the approach to newcomers with "we enjoy the videos, but would love to hear more about what got you into doing this? Or your personal experiences with retro gaming etc..?"

But the ridiculous policy reference to hauling or chastising new members that feel they are sharing, shared visual experiences if the subject this very forum is build on is been ignored with replies like this. As hard a$$ spammers, simply stops nutrition of the forum where something good and informative ceases as new members decide never to come back and ever posting experiences or engagement with other posts on the forum is snuffed out with negative interpretation.

"rather than spamming, join in, our way or the highway" approach. Then it's not going last and the forum will perish even further than it has now.

So I welcome people of all nature of posts, just stop treating them like bloody criminals and mind your own stuff and business for that matter.

Peace out!
