Re: Your Recent 'Other' Purchases
The most remarkable thing about that picture wasn't the presence of your hand but rather the Vectrex and that distinguished gentleman Pac Man:) Still, i must see your eyes, the real window to who you are;))))

Re: Your Recent 'Other' Purchases
Pacman is still in the xmas spirt, Bully is still drinking it
Re: Your Recent 'Other' Purchases
I love the Vectrex. Got my first one many years ago, I swapped a meat sandwich & a few cigs for it. (The peddler used to hang around the lobby of my friend's building, must of been really down on his luck that day.)
A few years later, I found one at a Goodwill, sitting there gingerly among the b&w TVs and turntables. (I'm sure they didn't even know what it was, heh....had something similar happen recently: Got a 2DS - sans charger - for $2. They'd had it sitting in a bin of toys/kiddie handhelds, like those 'Leapster' things.)
Regarding your avatar, I've got this guy in one of my storage units, though mine is a bit tattered and not in his original box:

A massive pile of MCM stuff, most on the forum may not know them but its a pair of hilarious Aussies who modify cars and sometimes even teach workshop stuff.
I also got the parts to hopefully get my cars TV nav working and if I can mod the unit myself then I can play games on my Lunch break.

WHS are selling off 2017 annuals for 20p so picked up the Doctor Who one. It's not actually that bad.

I recently picked up the board games Eldrich Horror & Mansions of Madness (se) for me and my wife & kitty.
As a big fan of Lovecraft's work and someone who's wanted to experience big-boy board games for a while these have both blown me away and we're all really enjoying them

After much umming and aaahing over various types of bikes (and ignoring several people urging me to buy road bike) I settled on a KTM Aera Comp 29er MTB - carbon frame which is brave considering my ample physique. I have real trouble buying bikes with no suspension whatsoever.

Picking up a new bartop this evening, i'm like a kid at Xmas, cant wait. Sold my own bartop (probably too cheap) but the new one has a raspberry pi in it, saw it at the retro show at Blackpool and had to get it. I'll be playing many more retro games for sure now
