The cover story is Super Mario Sunshine (aka the best Mario game ever). :D
There are also stories about Laser Squad and Sierra.
Man, this looks like a great issue. :)
Ken sent me.

Great! Still waiting for 172. I hope this one turns up! Subs help seemed so good at wanting to get 172 to me -but contact has since died. :(

Magazines in the shops but my subs copy is nowhere to be seen.

Not good.

Rasputin making of is only two pages, was it cut down? Gyruss too, looks out of place as a single page.

Mario Sunshine looks to have eaten up the pages for a newish retro title.

Nice to see Unconverted and Whatever Happened To features back. Bonus pay to who printed the SNES Mini at "actual " size! :)

Got mine today at my new usual spot.

Massive improvement for me personally over the last 2 issues. Loved the Mario Sunshine article. I've never heard of Shock troopers but it looks good.

Can't wait to read the Chuck Rock and Sierra articles.

Really enjoyed the Super Mario Sunshine article - but I found the gold/orange captions on a white background INCREDIBLY difficult to read.

So when should US subscribers receive this issue? I never received #172, now have to worry I get this issue.

I got my 172 on the 26th of last month, and I'm in Vegas. My local Barnes & Noble is due to get theirs this Saturday, and east coast locations might already have them. As I've seen a US seller offering multiple copies on Ebay.

I received #173 today and a new distribution address is printed on the outer sheet, "MHI - Brussels Airport, BE". So maybe they did something with the Pennsylvania distribution center?

I'd say you are out of luck with 172. I eventually got a copy (without the Super Play mag) - and I think my copy was one from the office... Wonder why so many are going walkies? :?

A generous offer there. I'm fine without it as I have no interest in the SNES - but I'm sure some of the American forum members here that haven't received it would snap it up!

Very kind- But I won't put my hand up for it due to living on the other side of the planet, I'm sure someone local that missed out would appreciate it. May good fortune and karma come your way for you kindness and nice gesture :)
