Good day, everyone
Been a gamer since 1993, avid reader of Retro Gamer since 2007. Lived in many places in my 28 years, and currently reside in Australia.
Loved all things SEGA, the Saturn and Mega Drive are my love, but most of my favourite games are on the PS2.
Currently playing Persona 3 Portable while I wait for Persona 5 (PS3) in the mail.
Looking forward to get nostalgic with everyone here!

So this one time I was putting my size 8 shoe on and I couldnt quite get my foot in at all.
I though "ah must have left my woolen sock in there"
It wasn't a sock

Any man who owns up to owning a woollen sock is welcome in my eyes...

Hope you pommy buggers don't mind another aussie joining your community, LOL!
Been reading Retro Gamer since issue 1 and re-reading the magazines every year is my favourite hobby. Lets just say my mind is very forgetful so its like reading a brand new issue when I go back to an issue after a year's time. Best magazine ever and Darren is just the best!!!

Hey Everyone, my name is Todd, and I'm a Community Manager for Veewo Games. A bit about me personally though: I love video games, comics, TV and lots of cartoons and anime. I even write my own comics that you can view at Guardians-Comic.com. Thank you for letting me join your community, and I hope to talk with you all soon! Especially about all things video games!

Greetings!!
A couple of you may remember me under my old username Naitch.
So Hello, and perhaps Hello again!!
I've been gaming since about the age of four on my Dad's VIC-20 and ZX81.
Got a 48k in 1986 for my 5th Birthday and am
still 100% obsessed with all things Speccy, with the Mega Drive being an extremely close 2nd!
Haven't posted a whole lot for quite some time, but would love to dive back in and become a part of the RG community.
Look forward to chatting with you all!!

Hey, I'm a young (15 years old) British retro gamer who is also into computing. ^~^
Found this forum when searching for retro gaming communities on Google and this forum seems to suit my needs and looks nice.
I'm into mostly the 8-bit and 16-bit console eras, having grown up with a SNES and Mega Drive and my parents owning an NES.
I hope I enjoy my stay here!
(PS- why is the avatar file size limit so small? Most forums allow something like 50KiB, I can't even upload an 9KiB avatar in 80x80 size!)

Welcome in. Since you found this place via Google and you're a young 'un, I'll point out this forum is attached to a magazine (Retro Gamer, obviously) that should interest you, should be available in your local newsagent or the subscription offers work out very cheap. Good to see some interest in the 8 bits, my fave era.

Vanilla, just resize an image using window's paint and then save it and it will compress when you do.
Then it will probably be fine to use.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I'll be sure to do that with my avatar too, and unfortunately I've never seen an issue/copy of Retro Gamer before in my local store/supermarket... :/
