Netflix be dammned.
I have bought ST:TNG on bluray.
I wonder how long 41 blurays take to watch.
(netflix dammned for only having the HD version in the US and policing exit points!)

picked up 4 vcrs for £25. wasn't expecting this many! 2 of them are in working order, one is practically new. the other 2 are pretty expensive models but need something fixing on them. i'll see what I can do about the ones that need to be fixed.

Got a bowlback acoustic electric guitar for £15 from the chazza. Some nondescript Korean brand (Legato?? Me neither) but after a clean and fettle sounds fantastic.

An ACER CB3-431 14" Full HD Chromebook in gold.
http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/ ... 7-pdt.html
Damn beautiful bit of kit to replace my ageing (2013) Samsung chromebook. All metal body rather than plastic and its got shedloads more power than my old one. If it lasts as long as the Samsung i'll be well happy!
Even my daughter liked it and she's a Macbook freak.

You ain't playing anything Windows on a Chromebook.
Chromebooks aren't for everyone but they they fit me perfectly. I always said as soon as my Samsung packed up I'd buy another the next day and that's exactly what I did.
It's worth noting that all Chromebooks released in 2017 now have access to Android apps via Google play store if you need a gaming fix although you'll need a touchscreen Chromebook to get the best out of them . Some apps have already been optimised for the keyboard and track pad. A few older Chromebooks can also access the play store through Dev. mode.

Picked up the first 3 Kings of Leon albums on itunes. I don't like their stadium rock years which is why I'm just focused on their Because of The Times & earlier albums. Great band, loving the songs!

Got a new monitor coming. The 1080p was not cutting it so I have a 1440 on the way. That will at least give me the same resolution I was used to when I was using my iMac every day
