I don't know about worst, but Monkey Island 4 was pretty jarring and really not nice to play

For me, hands down it is King's Quest - Mask of Eternity. It went from being a million plus selling series to selling for $1.99 in bargain bins.

The Ar Tonelico series. Two great (especially AT 2) 2D rpgs, and then the 3D games, best left forgotten.
Many good calls here btw, with Monkey Island 4 being an excellent choice.

I'd actually go for Bubsy. It's not as if the 2d games were any good, but the 3d one is so, so bad it has to be a "winner".

I like Monkey Island 4.

Everything 2d that got a sequel on the PS1 except 'Clock Tower' which made the jump to 3d really well.. Just compare any PS1 3d platformer to Mario 64 a game constantly copied but never bettered.
