I have been buying stuff for christmas since January, it my way of spreading the costPeople are buying christmas stuff now though. It's kind of a chicken and egg situation, do people buy it because it's for sale, or is it for sale because people will buy it.

But you've come through it before & you can again, you know the warning signs & can get the help you need to kick that goddamn disease in its stupid face.
Aye the difference this time is I feel it coming and recognise it in advance so can deal with it but it's still horrible.

For me when the Christmas music channels start is the OFFICIAL start of Christmas. After that anyone who isn't in the spirit should be strangled with fairy lights and displayed for all other joyless souls as a reminder that not joining in with the best time of year is a punishable crime.David wrote:The fact that the music channels don't have their Xmas channel on yetAntiriad2097 wrote:The fact that the shops are now filling with Christmas stuff.
Come on people I can only listen to them on my phone for so long I WANT THE VIDEOS TOO
Maybe not strangled, just somewhat thrashed.

Depression sucks big time, talking helps so please keep talking. A young guy tried to throw himself off the Forth Road Bridge yesterday, lucky the police got to him in time. Hopefully he will now get the help he needs

Re: What grinds your gears ?
Friend of mine tried to drown herself in a river earlier this week, having twice recently overdosed on pills. She's clearly gone over the edge but can't get a hospital place where she could actually get the care and attention she needs.

Hospitals have emergency therapy, ive used it my self
(I have made life changes since and am feeling great)
Re: What grinds your gears ?
Thanks everyone I will go to the doctors during the week and see what they say
Having been through it before it is good that am recognising the signs in advance, rather than denying it was happening till I went full scale mental a few years back
The thing is I am in a better position now in life with work, finances, family etc than I have ever been and have absolutely no reason for feeling like this but I can't shake it off.
It's like being in a fog it's hard to explain

Losing a filling
No idea what happened to it, hope getting it fixed dont cost much as this money from some extra work is ment to be spent on things I want to buy rather than have to buy

Well bloody hell...the_hawk wrote: I've lost someone I cared a great deal about to depression recently.
The guy I was talking about had attempted suicide, he went missing & was completely untraceable for a couple of weeks it wasn't a massive leap to have assumed the worst... but today he's only gone & resurfaced. I burst into tears when I found out today so so relieved, he's in a bad way but here's hoping he can get the help he needs.
