Atari ST - Double Dragon clones
I remember an old brawler game on the ST - I'm not sure if it came on an ST Format cover disc (full game or not), but it had the look of Double Dragon, but with the game style of River City Ransom.
Not sure if it was popular at the time, but it seemed to play well. I remember always thinking I'll get round to playing it, but that was 25+ years ago and I guess I never did.
Can anyone help with similar games to DD and that might give me a clue what it was? Thanks!

I was pretty hyped last year when I found that the Atari ST bundle I purchased had Double Dragon included. Then I played it
Might actually set it up again soon if only for a bit of Buggy Boy and Llamtron
Guardian Angel any good?

Yeah it's a really poor conversion, then all of the computer versions were so it's no surprise.Black Ridge wrote:I was pretty hyped last year when I found that the Atari ST bundle I purchased had Double Dragon included. Then I played it![]()

Guardian Angel is ok for a budget game, there are better beat 'em ups on the ST.

Was it renegade? That has all the overtones you're speaking off.

Vigilante? More like KFM, but still a side scrolling beat-em-up with weapons.

Dragon Ninja? I picked that up as a budget title. Not a great conversion, but alright for a budget game.

None of those!
I remember it was quite open, not side scrolling per se.
You could go up stairs and kick the enemy down them.
