Trying to remember the name of an 80's game/toy

Post by Swainy » Thu Jul 07, 2016 6:57 am

Guys, I wonder if you can help me?

I'm trying to remember the name of a electronic toy/game that I had back in the early 80's. It was a handheld, it had a plastic moulded oriental guy on it, which you had to move his arms & legs to react to lights that were dotted around the playing area. I've got a feeling that it might have been made by Tomy or Bandai.

Cheers

i had one when i was about 8, loved it but didnt know what i was meant to do. i think like most things them days like major morgan, they used a square battery that you had to push onto one of those black connectors that basically hung out of the back on 2wires while you changed it, i think mine probably broke there. They sell for a pretty penny now too.

Didnt want to start a thread that will probably be answered within the hour but, can someone remind me the name of a show wherby it seemed a bit of a kids panel game show and they used to have a round where they would show a clip of the latest disney cartoon (fox and hound era or the rescuers i seem to recall). The questions were probably a remember things about the clip,

i was trying to explain to people in work today (born after 1993) that it was normally the Only way we would see a clip of disney ever on tv at the time. i thought it was called "vision on" but that was a tony hart thing(thanks youtube).

so im sure someone will remember the name....

Clapperboard?

That was a 70s kids panel show quiz thing with a movie theme.

Looking at a 70s clip on youtube it is probably Screen Test, the theme music sure made my nostalgia hairs raise...its probably the 80s era id rememeber but i cant seem to find any, the 70s clip showed a clip of bedknobs a d broomsticks so im probably certain it is correct.

thanks for the replies.
