Re: Charity Shops
Today I got a brand new sealed copy of Destiny for the 360 for pop and a red DS Lite with charger and what looked like a game inserted but turned out to be an R4 with a 4gb micro sd! £5.

Re: Charity Shops
That's a result for the R4 card alone - especially since it's been illegal to buy or sell them for quite a few years now.

Re: Charity Shops
I have tried it out and it has played everything I have chucked on it apart from Konami Arcade Classics. It has a GBA folder on it but it won't let me load the ROMS. I assume I need a R4/everdrive for the GBA slot.gunbladelad wrote:That's a result for the R4 card alone - especially since it's been illegal to buy or sell them for quite a few years now.

Amazes how often people seem to report finding sealed copies of fairly recent games in charity shops! I wonder how they end up there in the first place? Must be relatives and such clearing out somebody else's stuff. The Hardest of All Freds wrote:Today I got a brand new sealed copy of Destiny for the 360 for pop and a red DS Lite with charger and what looked like a game inserted but turned out to be an R4 with a 4gb micro sd! £5.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Either that or angry ex partners clearing out stuff...Megamixer wrote:Amazes how often people seem to report finding sealed copies of fairly recent games in charity shops! I found that myself for £1.50. Then again I used to be MadManDan79 before my dopey ex partner used my old email address maliciously and had to change it...slacey1070 wrote:Punisher for the ps2 for a quid.

Good find yesterday, an original Gameboy, in mint condition (except for the owners name written on the bottom), carry case, couple of games, charger and manuals. £6.
I've been looking for one for ages.
