Which developers are still a day one purchase for you?
I could have sworn we did this before, but I couldn't find anything in the search. It could do with a refresh now anyway, so here goes:
What developer (if any) do you still trust enough that you'll buy one of their games on day one?

For me, it really is down to one: Firaxis. Will be getting Civ VI on launch day.

Good shout earlier with Sports interactive. I'd suggest WayForward, but they do so much licensed rubbish, it's a bit of a minefield. For every Double Dragon Neon, Mighty Switch Force and Shantae, There's a Smurfs 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Bungie were right up until Destiny was a thing...now I don't think there's any dev that I'd buy from day one.

None of them, but then again I'm not a huge day one purchaser so even when reviews are embargoed until after release I've usually got time to take a peek at them regardless of what I think of the developer.
That said, the closest I'd come would be Intelligent Systems, who've had a very high recent hit-rate, what with the likes of their Paper Mario, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem and Pullblox games, most of which I've bought soon after launch. I still decided to give Game & Wario a miss though, based on what I've heard about it.

Platinum
Grasshopper
Vanillaware
Pretty much my own personal holy trinity of devs. Games by anybody else I can usually wait for.

Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

I Did a thread similar to this but it was ages ago. Nothing wrong with an updated one, especially considering peoples opinions have changed.
As for me, A lot of Nintendo stuff still is. Twilight princess HD, Starfox Zero etc have all been day one for me.
I still keep an eye on Capcom as well, and even though I skip some of the releases I still find myself buying a lot of the games on day one.
Those are the only 2 that I actively keep up to date with TBH.

Only sure fire day one purchases for me these days are from Sega's team "Yakuza" since I love the series so much, and the games are always released finished (no DLC chapters, no bad glitches, no bad performance etc.)
Nintendo games tend to be day 1 purchases on the whole as well as I'm still a big fan of the Mario/Zelda/Metroid series etc. However I get the feeling that unless the NX wows me I'll be passing on that on day 1.
I used to grab Capcom games on day 1 but I'm starting to lose faith in some of their series, so I'm not sure what I'll be doing with Resident Evil 7 as and when its announced. Of course I'll get any Mega Man games day 1 if they ever bother releasing more.

I don't think I've bought a day one release for about 20 years, unless you count Kickstarters I've backed. Those are also the only pre-orders I've ever done.
