I can't really give a bigger hint than that - it's Hotel Alien on the Atari 8-bit by Artworx.

I'd love to have a guess, but unfortunately I just don't know this one - hopefully there are still enough people visiting this thread for someone to get it. Alas it feels sometimes that visitors are down to single figures!

I often check in to see if I can get it, but recently people are posting things that are far too niche (even by Retro Gamer standards)!

So is this last one not actually a real game?

After doing a bit of research, it appears it is a real game, but only because the made up game appeared in an episode of Bob's Burgers and someone created a game out of it afterwards. It's called Burger Boss.

And I agree with batman877, in a thread that barely gets any attention people continue to post the most obscure of screenshots.
Really people should try and pick not common, but not too obscure games (although I admit that can be easier said than done as what's well known for one can be obscure for others), and very importantly if no one guesses it after a day, post a bloody clue, hate it when someone posts a screenshot, no one gets it and doesn't give a single hint for weeks..
