Old TV shows that no one you talk to remembers.
few stand out for me. whenever I am talking to people about old shows everyone mentions the usuals ( Streethawk, knight rider, airwolf, boy meets world, wonder years, battlestar galactica, saved by the bell, Ateam etc)
no one ever seems to remember
Parker lewis can't lose
Fall guy
The littlest hobo
TJ hooker
Benji, Zax and the alien prince.
anyone else used to watch shows that no one they talk to seems to remember.

Hmmm, maybe a few old childrens' TV shows, like :-
Secret's Out(sort of What's My Line, but with the cast of Grange Hill)
Moondial(old BBC children's drama)
Henry's Leg(old ITV children's drama based on the book - made by the TVS region)
CATS Eyes(a sort of British Charlie's Angels - made by ITV and TVS again)
Galloping Galaxies(old BBC kids' program with Kenneth Williams as the voice of SID the computer. I think it has been mention on here though. There's a clip up on YouTube)
Aliens in the Family(old BBC kids' drama. Guess what? After googling - I found it on YouTube.
)
Gruey(old BBC kids' program)
Luna(old ITV kids' program with Patsy Kensit. Sort of sci-fi).
There's a few more - but I can't remember their names.
By the way, I know all of the shows that you mentioned. Parker Lewis Can't Lose was only on Sky(I think).

For me no one seems to remember "the box of delights" which was on the BBC in 1984

I love the Box of Delights, I still watch it every Christmas, absolute classic.

No-one I speak to ever remembers some of the darker, more interesting kids shows, like Inhumanoids, mainly because they got cut up and shoved into Saturday morning TV. Centurions gets no love either. Dark Season is another kids show that no-one remembers despite its writer (Russell T. Davies) going on to better things. Was looking this morning on All4 and was surprised to find you can't get 'Coping With...' the series based on Peter Corey's book series for kids, despite it winning awards including a BAFTA. Weird.
Re: Old TV shows that no one you talk to remembers.
The friday night ITV schedule that was usually a combination of:
an action show (like Highwayman).
Noisy Mothers/Raw Power (heavy metal show when metal was at its best)
American Gladiators/WCW wrestling (daft but sort of watchable at the time)
Get Stuffed (ridiculous cooking programme)
That was the best.

I remember watching a cartoon about 4 (possibly) people with super-type powers (maybe animal related) who lived in a volcano in a sort of spaceship thing that I remember looked a bit like the Millenium Falcon (it probably didn't)...
Did I dream this, or was there such a show?

Dempsey and Makepeace, Hunter, Spender and Yellowthread Street, Manimal, Automan usually draw a few blanks expressions. Or nods of agreement and understanding whilst the eyes say 'What planet are you from'!
Loved TJ Hooker and Fall Guy.

Don't know any of this lot! Got a big massive Tendril from Inhumanoids sitting on top of my telly but never saw the cartoon...
Nobody but my brother remembers Squawkie Talkie, which was on Channel 4 around 1996-ish... It took old nature footage and put weird voices/surreal commentary over the top of it - the highlight being "Beetle of the Yard", starring Constable Beetle (a dung beetle). Footage of insects is turned into a police drama.

My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

I don't recall many people remembering murun buchstansanger, from the looks of it though there's a fair few on youtube so I can watch those later.
Splink!

The Machine Gunners
Some kids drama in the 80's about the blitz. There was a (ahem) 'simple' character in it who kept shouting 'where you going now ?' in a geordie accent. Cue my mate saying that over and over in the late 80's.

Just watched a bit on You Tube and there was some animal super powers, and a ship that looked a 'bit' like the Millenium Falcon, and a volcano. It was much camper than I remember it though.... especially Hercules.
