agreed, mate. I can't see how anyone would escape from that without at least a bite, but whilst I really like Walking Dead and watch every episode occasionally it can have a bit of lazy writing, which is why If you know who does survive I would not be surprised.

Spectre at the cinema, we were going to see Hotel Transylvania 2 (!) at the cinema with kids and my wife said go see Spectre and we'll see you in the foyer! Storming start but slowed down a bit, good but not great IMO.

Watched Licence to Kill and The Living Daylights recently. Dalton is underrated as Bond in my opinion and I seriously enjoyed both movies. Plus, the V8 Vantage from TLD has to be my favourite Aston ever so you can keep your DB5's! Loads of extras to get through on the second discs of the 'Ultimate Editon' DVD's I picked up cheaply.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Watched the first two episodes of Fargo season 2. Good so far - great cast (except for Ted Danson
), suitably dark and funny.

I really tried to like Defiance but it just didn't push my buttons. Most of the time it seemed more soap opera than sci fi adventure.

Likes sscott - I went to see Spectre at the cinema. I suppose I enjoyed around 2/3 of it. It's more "fun" then say something like Skyfall or Casino Royale. Léa Seydoeux is very good - one of the very few Bond girls who actually gets to act. Monica Bellucci is criminally underused. As is, Christoph Waltz's character. SPOILERS Yes, like Star Trek : Into Darkness - it's the same situation - instead of John Harrison being Khan - this time we have Franz Oberhauser being Blofield!. The opening pre-credits sequence is epic. I suppose, in a way, it had to be a very different creature from Skyfall - but whether or not it got the mix of realism(that we have come to expect from things like Casino Royale and Skyfall) and fantasy right, remains to be seen. It's okay - but I think Craig has made better Bond films - and do think Christop Waltz(a great actor) was underused in this film.sscott wrote:Spectre at the cinema, we were going to see Hotel Transylvania 2 (!) at the cinema with kids and my wife said go see Spectre and we'll see you in the foyer! Found an american series i havent seen before - Last man on Earth
Always liked the sound of these 'what happened if you were the last person on earth, what would you do' type of films. Only halfway through the first episode and think it could be pretty good, its already in its second season so i'm intrigued to know what happens, does he meet anyone or not ? (Please dont spoil it !)
Also got Homeland to watch (last two seasons) and once again i need more time so i can watch Sons of Anarchy and see if thats any good. On Season 2 of Z Nation and really enjoying that, bit like a cheaper funnier Walking Dead but really liking it
