Some of you will chortle at the following collection (of which I am only showing some of it!). But...
Tiffany
Hold An Old Friends Hand - Japanese album release with Calendar
The Tiffany Story - USA promo. This is a 3-sided recording of an interview-with-music. It is complete with tracking sheets and letter of instruction. The process for this was the radio station receives the set, airs it once and then either destroys it or returns it to the record label. Only this one made it into the open.
Tiffany - UK album release with poster and signed sleeve
A selection of 7" Japanese promos - I Saw Him Standing There, Could've Been, Feelings of Forever, Radio Romance, All This Time, Hold An Old Friend's Hand, Oh Jackie
And finally, mostly UK limiteds - Danny promo (and never released as a single in the UK), I Think We're Alone Now with poster, I Saw Him Standing There with poster, Could've Been picture disc, Feelings of Forever with badge, All This Time box with poster and postcards, Radio Romance with poster, and the Canadian release of I Saw Him Standing There with poster
I have so much more for Tiffany - all-bar-one standard releases for 7" and 12", all CD singles, all vinyl, cassette and CD editions of albums, all subsequent non-UK release albums on CD, a few cassette singles.... Yes, along with Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Tiffany ruled my teenage world!
I expect that, other than for the ITWAN release, nothing is of interest to most of you. I can, though, recommend her album The Colour of Silence - it is totally unlike her earlier work, very mature, contemporary and hailed by critics worldwide. It just got stiffed in the promotional machine and went relatively unheard of among the public at large. A real gem of a listen. Check out YouTube.
