Playing Ar no Surge and having a reasonably good time with it, grinding for DP. There doesn't seem to be much challenge so far though.
I didn't actually play the original because by the time I was ready, I heard that the sequel was getting a home port so I waited. I'm glad that they included the rest of
Persona 3's main cast with the only omission that I would sort out being the lack of Metis from
P3 FES's 'The Answer' post-game story.
The story section is also quite good if you enjoyed the
Persona RPG's since you can have the fights play out in auto mode and just enjoy it.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Bonk/PC Kid on the Gamecube and what a strange difficulty spike.... I got to the second boss with 10 lives losing a couple getting careless game gives you loads of lives and then an insane difficulty spike... I couldn't hit her let alone dodge her, 8 lives lost she changed attack patterns and I quickly lost my remaining lives and turned it off in disgust.. Shame as it was a really nice look 2d platformer and very charming apart from Bonk looked liked Dwayne Dibley of Red Dwarf.. Then again Hudson created Master Higgins

WWE 13 on Wii
Oh dear, this game is so glitchy
doin Attitude mode
First match HHH runs in, hits Foley once then proceeds to try to walk thought the barryer for the rest of the match.
I also did a top rope plancha and I teleported mid air to hit Foley

How could you hit a man who dresses like Santa?
Playing Zack and Wiki on the Wii. Struggled early on, as the game didn't do a great job of introducing new play mechanics, but now that I know how it works I'm really getting into it. Still getting stuck occasionally, but I eventually figure it out after a bit of head scratching.

Crysis - I'm always impressed to be playing this on a tired old Xbox 360. For whatever reason I keep getting annoyed at the sparse check-points and on-off enemy detection though. I'll try to stick with it.
Shantae: Risky's Revenge - A really nice title and a really nice PC port. No more than 20 minutes in I seem to have hit a wall and have no idea where to go. I'll give it another shot before it gets thrown on the pile, never to be played again.

What's impressing you about it? I bought it on 360 and thought it was utterly average in every way. I'd played Crysis 2 on 360 and the earlier game seemed like a huge step back to me. A very routine experience both in looks and gameplay. Ditched it for Bulletstorm I think. Never went back.
If it's slower than me, dumber than me and it tastes good ... tough titty.

Agreed, Crysis 2 is way better than the first one.
Granted, the graphics are impressive, but the whole second half of Crysis is just terrible with the low point being that censored escort mission. And it didn't help that the frame rate on PC halves when the snow comes down for some reason. It's a shame because the first half is quite decent, but even then, it's one of those games where you wish you could pull off the stuff in the cutscenes and that's never a good thing.

Captain Toad : Treasure Tracker (Wii U), which is an amazing game that i hope they do a sequel for
Final Fantasy XIV (PS4), typical MMO with Final Fantasy sauce all over it, but I like it and i think it looks great

I really enjoy the feeling of freedom on the original Crysis. Crysis 2 felt too constricted, too scripted and had an absolute let-down of a finale (I literally walked past the last 'challenge').
Taking a break from my 360 I've spent most of my game time on my Vita diving between various pick up and play titles (Dynasty Warriors, Everybody's Golf, Senran Kagurra & Project Diva)
