That's really well done, particularly the polystyrene textures...

Very, very impressive.

Love the diffused reflection of the rainbow stripe on the polystyrene.

Yes, that's good work with the surfaces, very representative of the real deal, you seem to have got the plastics about right and the rubber keys look suitably soft.
Its been a while since I saw one in the flesh, but the keys look to be sitting a little too high from the surface of the keyboard for my liking.
I'm also not sure about the thickness of the bands of colour in the rainbow stripe. I reckon that should be a smidgeon narrower. That additional thickness you've got knocks out the positioning of it a little as well, it doesn't quite intersect the keys where it should.
That would be my only criticism at first glance, though that may just be because I'm used to a worn out old model.
I'm assuming the last image is an earlier test render, as its lost the Spectrum text below Sinclair.

It is an interesting proposition, this little project. I've done some modelling in the past myself, and you could be on to something with this.
Out of curiosity, given the availability of snaps of the insides of these things and their relative simplicity, have you considered fully modelling the internals too? You could create some very impressive explosive diagram animations.
I really need to sort out my laptop and get Cinema 4D up and running on it again...

I was going to say that I liked the fact you'd even put some dust across the surface, as the shiny metal always attracts it so they're never perfectly smooth.
Then I realised my monitor is dirty
