Arrived today as promised. Sadly the Micro SD card did not, so transferring will have to wait till tomorrow.

First impression was that this XL's longer then the original XL, and comparing them confirms that. The gold MM design is as lovely as I hoped, and coated in a nice gloss finish. The 3D tracking works extremely well, there was even a window during step up that mimicked your head's movements.

From the little I played of Majora's Mask, just like OOT it definitely looks and feels the part. The free Skull Kid figurine is very nice too.

Looks like more 3D SEGA Classics are on the way, starting with Streets of Rage 2.

This arrived yesterday :)
The so called super stable 3D is brilliant, This is how the 3ds should have been from the start, no image break up if you slightly tilt the system, you can actually move the system & head and the 3d still effect still works! This is a major upgrade and feels like a full new system, can't wait to replay some of my old games on this, it's also super fast at loading/downloading and doing just about anything compared to the old model

Not tried Majoras Mask yet but I did buy Fantasy Zone 3D and it's class :)

I'll be off to get myself MH4U within the hour - and the New 3DS next week. (Sadly I'm £30 short of getting both today)

Good to see that people are enjoying the better 3D. :D I won't be buying a new one as I can't use 3D at all (gives me a headache).

Just bought Mario Golf as it had dropped to £19.85 at Amazon & I had a £5.00 promo code to use. Will play it & trade it in, so will make a cracking 15p profit.

About 5 weeks ago I pre-ordered the New 3DS XL with Zelda MM and Charging Cradle for £209 from www.zavvi.com

Nothing arrived on launch day (Fri 13th), so I emailed them asking when I might expect it to be dispatched.

To my astonishment, Zavvi responded by cancelling my order saying the item was out of stock! How can my 'pre-order' by out of stock? The website is still showing the product is 'in stock' and 'dispatched within 24 hrs'.

I am absolutely disgusted by this level of customer service and won't be spending any more money with them! :x

Just wanted to share in case any one else ordered from them and hadn't received anything.

Disgustingly bad service and immoral IMO. Make it as public as possible

I collect blu ray steelbooks from Zavvi and I know from experience and tales from other collectors that their customer service is pretty poor. If you're lucky, they'll apologize with a 10% discount code but that's hardly any help. :/

I'd generally avoid them for preordering games at least if you can get it anywhere else. The only game I preordered was the Resident Evil Revelations Circle Pad bundle many moons ago...

I had some trouble with Zavvi when I bought the original 3DS. Pre-ordered it early and they later reduced the price, but Zavvi charged the original price. Had to phone a couple of times for a refund of the difference.

Well, I emailed a complaint to Zavvi yesterday - haven't heard back yet.

They're not getting a penny of my money now; I managed to get the following from Argos today:

New 3DS XL metallic blue - £179.99
Street Fighter IV 3D - FREE
Deal or Alive Dimensions - FREE
£10 discount voucher for spending over £100

So I also picked up Zelda Majora's Mask for £21.99 (£31.99 with £10 off)!

Just transferring the data between consoles now... :D

Tempted by the Argos deal... But would get too much gip from the missus if I took it up 'cos I'm unemployed at the moment!

Not played either one, but heard very good things about Fantasy Life.
