Additional Policies & Guidelines

Selling & Trading on the Forum

Retro Gamer Forum is not a trading post, and as enumerated above, sales threads are technically disallowed. All sales threads, both in terms of sale and receipt, are entirely at your own risk. Future PLC is not responsible for any issues that arise through sales, trades, or other exchanges that originate on this board.

To sell or trade in the areas designated for these threads, you must abide by the following rules;

1. As a community forum, sales between long-time forum members are tolerated (and, frankly, are more trustworthy). Therefore, selling, buying and trade threads are not permitted where members have a post count of less than 50. Those users who do not qualify for this requirement are encouraged to instead take their offerings or requests to eBay or other auction site. Sales threads created by members with fewer than 50 posts will be deleted. Moderators will endeavor to advise the thread starter for the reason of the deletion.

2. Any and all sales-oriented thread should be in the Trading Post section of this board. Threads posted elsewhere will either be moved or deleted.

3. Each member may have only live sale or trade thread at any one time. Multiple threads of any kind constitute spam and will be removed.

4. All Sales threads must have a thread title that starts with either 'FOR SALE:', 'FOR TRADE:' or 'WANTED:'

5. Users engaged in trade post exchanges are encouraged to provide photos of the product, as well as advance notice of postage costs.

To emphasize again, trades that occur on the forum are caveat emptor - buyer beware, and at individual risk.
