Can you believe it? Last week I transferred out Geovanni of Hull and Torres of Liverpool as their form was not all good, so I brought in Adebayor who got a hattrick last week and Delap of Stoke. What happens? Torres gets 2 goals against Everton, Geovanni scored a fantastic long range shot against Arsenal, and of course Adebayor and Delap would have preferred to play football on another day. I think I have to be a bit more patient with certain players otherwise the same thing is going to happen again.

That happend to me alot last season. I went trhough a phase of transfering 2 players a week for the first half of the season, not really a wise move (unless there injured or somthing).

Anyhow, my last 4 players today all got excellent socres so i'm doing okay again

Will not likely have an opportunity today to update the preliminary Cup mini-leagues so, unless you bother to work out your results for yourselves, you'll have to wait until my return from honeymoon. I leave tomorrow until the middle of next week.

Right-o, here's the draw for the Last 16 of the FFFA Cup. All pairings were chosen blind and from pots of the previous mini-league round to ensure no two teams from the same mini-league play each other in this first round. And, let's face it, would I have chosen who I am paired with if there had been any cheating?!

There is no benefit for being Home or Away, either. And no points will be deducted for any transfers made. Quite simply, taking League results, what you score is what you score.

Seriously gonna have to look at getting Ronaldo back in my team somehow, only left him out to begin with because he was injured. The guy is a points machine.

yup, i'm so glad i moved my captancy over this morning to Ronaldo from Adebayor! 30 points

So, I made some pretty radical changes to get him back in:

Clichy replaced by Turner
Wright-Phillips replaced by Valencia
Cole J replaced by Ronaldo
Berbatov replaced by Zaki

Gonna go with 3-5-2 sticking Geovanni in as the extra midfielder and dropping Turner to first sub. Hope it pays off!

I reckon with some proper study there could be some major points scored witrh Stoke and Hull players without spending too much money. I'm fully undecided about a strike force at the moment. Happy Cueller's getting games now and only really happy with Defoe and Barry in my team.

Yah - off the bottom and moving upwards at last. It's almost mirroring my real team, Spurs, an atrocious start but suddenly moving in the right direction.

After last week's horrendous efforts I have lost confidence in almost the whole of my team. Feel forced to make multiple changes this week (and, as a consequence, lost points) and will again next week. Gah!
