Very EXCITING NES Bundle!
Just read an ad for a HUGE NES collection that has been collected over the last 14 years.
300 Boxed games, some sealed for £500.
Does it sound good (even not knowing what the games are)
I would assume there are no duplicates if somebody has been collecting for over 14 years, but how many PAL NES games were released??

If they're all boxed games then it really doesn't matter what games they are because they'll all be worth at least a couple of quid each... If you've got stuff like Bubble Bobble 2 in there that's worth £50-100 on it's own!
According to a NES release list I found a while back there were 310 different games released in Europe, so it could well have nearly every one!

Yeah but Bubble Bobble 2 is US and Can only (unless you mean Bubble Bobble 2: Rainbow Islands which is maybe worth £7-10).witchfinder wrote:If they're all boxed games then it really doesn't matter what games they are because they'll all be worth at least a couple of quid each... Also don't forget that some games released in Europe are PAL B only such as Corvette Zr-1, Die Hard and Cool World etc. and thus don't work on UK NESs. NES collecting is a minefield isn't it!?

Not really, modding the console is easy after all!Guybrush wrote:Yeah but Bubble Bobble 2 is US and Can only (unless you mean Bubble Bobble 2: Rainbow Islands which is maybe worth £7-10).

But I see your point - quite a few of the games never made it to UK soil. But 300 boxed games for £500 is a no-brainer (if you can afford it) regardless of the titles really...

I agree. 300 Boxed copies of something really common like Time Lord or Fester's Quest have got to be worth £300-600 (although it'd take forever to sell them) so if there is a good selection then it's win/win.witchfinder wrote:

Master System I totally agree with... I bought a job lot of around 20 boxed games a while back for around 50p each and struggled to sell most of them for a profit!
With the NES, the unboxed commons I imagine aren't great sellers but anything boxed in good condition should fetch a few quid at least...

Good news for me, as I have 2 NES collections, unboxed and boxed and in great condition (I didn't say MINT lol).
Here is the original ad :
around 300 games, rare items some sealed, wireless controllers, game genie, Aladdin deck enhancer, collected for 14 years
Whats an Aladdin deck enhancer when it's at home??
