but OMG not back to the start of that level when you die :o

I agree with Markopoloman that is slightly annoying but it does make you learn the level better.

I have really enjoyed playing your game so thanks for making it. :P

Thats not a bad game! It's a good time-passer. I was a bit wary incase it was like Wizball - a game that, in my circle of friends 20 years ago, I was notoriously bad at.

Kind of reminds me of Thing On A Spring in gameplay. Not sure why, as it involves no springs. I think it was the "boingy" noise!

But I like it.

I wish I could write games.

If you e-mail Darran personally on his PM and ask him very nicely, I'm sure he will be very pleased and happy to review your game in Retro Gamer Magazine (I hope, please Darran?).
Thanks for the advise yethboth, Al PM him when I have the game Finished (should be about 2months before I go back to uni.)

I think al have no checkpoints in the smaller levels but include them in some of the larger levels. Thanks for the feedback Lou am glad you liked HellBall.

It is quite a springy sounding bonigy sound fx

Thanks for all the positive feed back guys I really appreciate it.
Next am going to start work on the Second Zone (the Ice dimension).
When I have it finished al post it up for ppl to have a play around with, I will put in a cheat so you can skip through levels (should only take 2 weeks).
Again thanks for all the help :D

OK I have finished the 2nd zone it is ready to be played though if anyone wants to.

In this Zone there are 4 Levels plus a boss fight to play though.
(I have not included any Checkpoints put they will be included in the final version).

I have included a Level Skipper Just Press R and it will skip to the next level.

In most of your posts you say "I will be very much looking forward........very soon"

When I see that it makes me think that you are not currently looking forward to it but at some point in the future you will be looking forward to it.

Haven't played it yet only read the thread but you might want to change 'we will lay waste to anyone in are way' to 'our way'

Can't imagine it detracts from the fun though :)

Thanks for pointing that out pforson but I did that intentionally, the game is littered with bad English.
I thought it would be fun to make it seem like it had been translated really badly from Japanese-to-English, like quite a few games
from Japan in the 80s, early 90s. (plus am dyslexic and it saves me assing around with the spellchecker  )

Nice game, but (I'm guessing this is my 6 year old PC's problem) it kept crashing on me for a few seconds mid play :( perhaps I need to clear all the crap off it and de-frag.

I don't really have any suggestions.. perhaps some more power ups that alow you to jump higher or some such.

That sucks sorry about that rupert not heard of it doing that before. :?

That's not a bad idea about creating more power ups as I have only put one kind in the game at the mo. I will have to come up with one or two more I think.
Thanks for the feedback.

Ok here is the 3rd and final zone for HellBall.

It has 4 levels then the final Boss fight.
It also includes the games ending and credits.
This is NOT the final mix I am going to spend about another
month on the overall game polishing it up i.e stuff like
check points and more power ups (thanks for the suggestions guys)
plus menus and a start screen.
